RF ENGINEER COMMRESOURCES LEBANON OPPORTUNITY
We currently have the following role available with Nexius Lebanon on a 3 months extendable contract to start beginning Next year.
Position Details :
Project location in Lebanon
Project Duration-3 month (extendable)
Project Estimate start date: 1st week Jan. 2013
Number of candidates required-2 (so please let me know if you have any recommendations)
The package will be about 4500 usd all incl per month
The engineer will be in charge of:
·Post processing daily drive test log files.
·Analyze and find root cause for all types of failure events (dropped calls, call setup failures, Handover failures).
·Provide recommendations for every failure event and on both 2G and 3G networks.
·Identify Pilot Pollution and provide recommendations to solve it.
·Improve 3G coverage and penetration without impacting the quality of service.
·Illustrate all the DT KPIs (2G and 3G) including benchmark with the other operator.
·Take antenna actions to solve the problems and improve radio conditions.
·Change RF parameters to tune NSN 2G, Ericsson 2G and Ericsson 3G algorithms.
·Correlate the drive test events with the Performance Management Key Performance KPIs.
·Verify the PM KPIs following each action
·Submit Request for Changes (RFC) for the needed changes. The RFC will be divided between physical and soft changes. A global tracker should be filled for all the changes requested and performed with the respective date
·Submit daily report and dashboard. The template of the report will be agreed with Alfa engineers.
RF Engineers background
The RF engineers should have the following requirements:
·Holder of an engineering degree in Telecommunication
·Minimum 3 years in drive testing analysis
·Experience in NSN 2G and Ericsson 2G/3G systems.
·Good communication skills
·Very high reporting skills
·Deep knowledge and understanding of GSM&UMTS technology and standards.
·2G/3G site verification and integration of new sites
·Deep Experience in analyzing 2G/3G drive test data by digging into call flow and L3 messaging to troubleshoot drop calls and call failures.
·Extracting and troubleshooting missing neighbors, coverage holes, pilot pollution areas, interference problems, areas of no dominance, overshooting cells, parameter inconsistencies, low throughput, etc.
