Job Title : Senior-Pre-Sales-Technical-Consultant-SPI
Location : Singapore
Scope : This position will provide prospecting, technical sales, and support in support of both traditional and new service provider accounts across Korea , Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia New Zealand for SPI in order to help fill a gap in knowledge and experience with these highly technical accounts. It will also help with training of outside sales in order to better enable market requirements, product knowledge and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Establish relationships with CTO or equivalent at customer and prospect organizations, and leverage that to design in Dialogic products into customer networks and solutions.
- Act as the liaison between Dialogic (Sales Engineering, Customer Service, Engineering) and equivalent customer and partner organizations regarding technical resolution to architecture, installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Dialogic products and solutions.
- Assist in technical management of new business projects from conceptual stages, through pre-sales, sales, trials and training, and working with the sales account team during contract negotiations to ensure the technical feasibility and proper support internally from the company.
- Perform technical presentations for customers and prospects.
- Assist development of RFP/RFI/RFQ technical responses.
- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities, including identifying prospects and creating technical engagement plans, and product quotations for same.
- Document customer requirements to manage customer and internal expectations.
- Educate the customer on new technologies.
- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services within the above markets.
- Document all activity in CRM systems, as appropriate.
60% of time - Attend customer meetings (in person and via teleconference) & provide general sales support
25% of time - Work with engineering and product management to architect and design requirements for new products
15% of time - Assist with product & marketing trainings for sales force, staffing at trade shows, industry events, etc.

Must have:
- Ten years or more of highly technical solution sales, preferably selling telecommunications equipment, software, or services to service providers.
- The ability to communicate, both written and verbally, technically advanced subjects with customers on all levels, from middle and senior management to programmers and operations personnel
- Experience with managing pilot evaluations and implementing software and hardware solutions
- Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action
- Strong technical skills in IP and TDM network architectures
- Strong understanding of NGN Class 4 & Class 5 Softswitch architectures
- Strong understanding of 2G, 3G and 4G mobile network architectures
- Strong understanding of Media Gateways, Signalling Gateways and Session Border Controller technologies
- Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols including SIP, H323, MGCP & MEGACO
- Strong knowledge of TDM Signalling protocols including SIGTRAN, ISDN & SS7
- Strong knowledge of IP networking issues such as security, quality of service, bandwidth management, etc
- Experience creating and presenting technical product overviews
- Experience dealing with customers, analyzing requirements and negotiating solutions
- Experience working on RFPs, RFQs, RFIs
Nice to have:
- Experience with Dialogic/Veraz Products
- Experience with C4/C5 Softswitchs, Gateways, Bandwidth Optimization & Compression technologies and Session Border Controller products
- Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin
