Scope of Work: Locations: NE, SE, WEST (Candidates should be flexible to travel) RF Engineers should have extensive years experience in NPI projects, from which 2 years should be in UMTS NPI Experience with the different RAB services (CS, PS, HSDPA, EUL) Experience optimizing network using statistics Experience with the OSS (WRNO, RAN Explorer, Element manager etc.) and knows how to operate them. Experience with live data KPIs and tools. Business objects experience is preferred. Familiar with the RAN features in UMTS (P6 preferred) Past Leadership experience in at least 2 projects. Candidates have to be flexible to travel if needed.
Requirement 2: UTRAN Engineer Number of Openings: 9 resources need Rate: Negotiable and depends on experience Start Date: ASAP
Scope of Work: UTRAN Engineer should be capable of troubleshooting network performance issues in live networks. The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of UMTS experience. The candidate must be familiar with Network Performance Improvement, including tracing and analysis of single call as well as traffic analysis and improvement using KPIs. In-depth understanding of all RAN interfaces and protocols, and capability to troubleshoot capacity and performance issues is required. Must have an in-depth understanding of ATM transport network and capability to modify configurations according to established templates. Need to be proficient with trace tools, CPP platform, COLI, Moshell/AMOS, and scripting. Experience with OSS PM and Business Objects are a plus. Candidates should be flexible to travel.
Requirement 3: Scripting Engineer Number of Openings: 6 resources need Rate: Negotiable and depends on experience Start Date: ASAP
Scope of Work: In-depth understanding of all Ericsson RAN configuration, interfaces and protocols, and capability to develop scripts, configure and troubleshoot performance issues is required. Must have an in-depth understanding of RAN ATM transport network and capability to modify configurations according to established templates & script procedures. Need to be proficient with Moshell/AMOS scripting, trace tools, CPP platform, COLI and xml scripting. Experience with OSS PM and Business Objects are a plus. Based on TND and kget from RNC/NodeB, develop AMOS Scripts using local AMOS Script Generation tools; Perform desk checks and review of Scripts using quality guidelines and release the Scripts to Implementation The consultant would be located in Plano, TX, and should be flexible for travel inside the US (California, Florida, Chicago, Atlanta) for customer meetings & short projects.
Requirement 4: LTE Design Engineer Number of Openings: 5 resources need Rate: Negotiable and depends on experience Start Date: ASAP
Scope of Work: RF engineers needed for LTE design projects in Plano There will be extensive interviews for these positions. Do NOT submit anyone that does not meet the minimum requirements. Skill set - Candidates must have design experience in UMTS/HDSPA design and/or LTE design. - Minimum 10 years of RF design experience, 5+ in UMTS/LTE. - Atoll tool experience strongly encouraged, but not required if proficiency can be shown in other tools - Good communication skills in English - Good troubleshooting skills - Candidate must have understanding of LTE fundamentals- link budget, PCI, TA list, KPI’s, etc. - Candidate must have significant experience using ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) tools - Understand plumbing diagrams and able to create them (diplexers, duplexers) - Excellent understanding of the Design fundamentals (how to design and measure a network, Monte Carlo, antenna theory, etc.) -Candidate must be willing to travel within the US, lead a team, and work without supervision if necessary. - Able to identify and interpret customer requirements and develop plans to address them

Scope of Work: Assist NDI Core Services in Node B Integrations. Engineers will be working in the Plano NIC loading TCM provided scripts on the RNC/RXI/RBS RAN nodes, working with the field engineers to integrate the RBS and troubleshooting transport and connectivity problems. Services will include Node B rehomes, IuCS/IuPS/Iur adds or rehomes, Carrier Adds, and related activities. UMTS field and remote integration and troubleshooting experience. Minimum two year field experiencing on NodeB Integration. Candidate must be able to do Shift work such as weekends/night. Good communication skills necessary. Mobile phone required. Experienced preferred. Two to three weeks of OJT at ARP company expense. Competence/Skills reqd: Ericsson WCDMA competence RAN integration and troubleshooting competence for RNC/RXI/MSN/Node B, and Basic CPP Cello platform Knowledge.

The job holder identifies and trouble shoots faults by applying standard resolving processes. A Services Professional Experienced may develop and design methods, tools and scripts within a defined framework in line with customer requirements, and/or carry out site design and layout. A Services Professional Experienced independently carries out the work duties as described in the accountabilities below subject to managerial follow up and review of results. IMPACT: A Services Professional Experienced mainly interacts with other Ericsson Services Professionals, other groups within the Service Delivery organization, and with customers on issues related to site engineering, troubleshooting of network problems, and in training sessions. Often plays a role as project member during delivery phase of projects.
