·
To Optimize and Dimension NSN’s 3G network including R99 and HSPA
in terms of Quality of service and revenue generation for NSN’s tools
equipment, this includes the performance improvement tasks using Parameter’s
modification and troubleshooting of network’s Voice and Data problems.
·
Be familiar with NSN’s counter families and parameter objects
(WCEL, WBTS, ADJS, ADJG, HOPG…etc) and have knowledge of reporting the
network’s performance through Access and Excel DBs.
·
Be familiar with NSN’s RNC Software releases (RU10, RU20 and RU30)
and all their related features.
·
Be able to recommend Hardware configuration changes and
commissioning of NSN’s Flexi Rel.1 and Rel.2 HW equipment.
·
Be able to deal with ease with all Netact platform’s tools;
Reporting suite, Optimizer, Report builder, Working set manager, Application
Launcher,…etc.
·
Be able to support the 3G/HSPA functionality enquiries and
optimization issues escalated by the customer.
·
Be able to coach the junior engineers working in the team and
provide technical demonstrations to the customer.
·
Reporting to the 3G Radio Team Leader you will be expected to
provide the ability to analyze the 3G performance of NSN’s network,
troubleshoot the network’s problems through KPIs, Drive-tests and traces in a
way to provide advice about the possibilities of improving the Voice/Data
performance through parameter modifications and neighbor optimization projects
and report the trials and modifications during customer meetings.

Have deep expertise in NSN 3G Radio Optimization for more than 5
years and general Radio expertise of more than 7 years.
·
Demonstrate an end to end understanding of 3G systems for
NSN’s algorithm.
·
Working knowledge of hardware and software features and constraints
for Nokia Siemens Networks equipment.
·
Ability to collect and analyse data using Netact tools from the 3G
networks to resolve problems and provide recommendations for improving QoS.
·
Ability to analyze air interface signalling to help resolve
problems and make recommendations for improving QoS.
