- Able to designs voice, video, graphics, data communications and Internet systems.
- Able to Supervises the installation of the systems and provides maintenance and other services to clients after systems are installed.
Typical Duties:
- Define requirements, including transmission capacity planning, in areas such as communications, signal processing, and control systems
- Design, develop, test, and supervise the development and operation of computer and communications equipment such as broadcast and communications systems
- Monitor and support Voice over IP (VoIP) technology and make appropriate recommendations to achieve efficiency.
- Install, repair, and maintain telephone equipment, cables and access lines, and telecommunications systems
- Help customers understand new and varied types of services offered by telecommunications providers.
