Senior Billing Implementation Engineer

We are urgently looking for Senior Billing Implementation Engineer for one of the MNCs’ in Malaysia. This position needs super urgent attention.


Candidate’s Office Location: KuaLa Lumpur, Malaysia
Position Type: Permanent / Contract
At the interview time client will select the appropriate position (level) for you according to your skill set, experience, and knowledge
Your responsibility as senior billing implementation engineer is to prepare, deliver and support projects deployment involving our Dynamic Charging Platform product (DCP).
As such, you will have the following activities:
 Project activities:
o Work with Business Consultants, Solution Architects and Project managers to kick off Volubill business projects
o Highlight pro-actively project issues to project managers
o Install and configure Solaris, Oracle when required by project
o Install and configure our billing product DCP
o Interact with our backend team in charge of customizations
o Test and validate the solution embedding DCP
o Pass the internal IOT testing then CAT with customer
o Document project technical activities
o Document project technical specificities for handover to support team

 Organization activities:
o Contributing and improving our processes and tools
o Immediate development activities: reporting, escalation
Requirements:
 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree, Post graduate Diploma,
Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer
Science/Telecommunication) or equivalent,

 Required skills :
o Sound knowledge on telecommunications products and services in the market
o Real Solaris or HP/UX experience (power user or sysadmin)

o Real Oracle and SQL experience (deployment, config, support)
o Experience in deployment and delivery of billing projects with Telco
o Capable of working in a very dynamic environment
o Good analytical and problem solving skills
o In depth knowledge of one billing product.
Knowledge of DCP would be a very favored skill

 Presence on site is mandatory for up to 8 weeks
 Excellent communication skills, autonomy, totally fluent in English
 Ability to have good contacts with other employees, customers/partners
 Some C programming experience would be a plus (optional)
