Network Engineer

We are hiring multiple numbers of experienced NETWORK ENGINEER for one of our prestigious clients in Singapore. Our client is a global MNC having offices all over the world.


Location: Singapore
Salary Range: Negotiable
Start Date: Immediate/ASAP

Requirement:
• Candidate must have minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
• Should possess a university degree (full time graduate)
• 4 to 5 years experience in Cisco-based networking - LAN, WAN, routing and security
• Strong work experience and analytical skills in isolating faults & network problems, problem resolution and service restoration as well as configuration knowledge in IP networking, including skills in the areas of routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP preferred), traffic Shaping and QoS (DSCP, Cisco queuing mechanism), layer 2 and 3 VPN technologies (GRE / IPSEC / SSL tunnels) and provider’s data connection offerings (VPLS, MPLS, xDSL, FR, ATM).
• Skilled in working with LAN switching in a CISCO environment, including STP, VLAN, VTP, MLS. Knowledge and experience in Cisco’s Wireless technologies will be a bonus.
• Working knowledge of standard network services is expected (DNS, DHCP, NTP, TFTP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, SSL, SNMP, etc).
• Preferably experience in network management, monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong documenting and technical writing skills.
• Experience in VoIP and UNIX will be an advantage.
