CORE NETWORK DESIGN CONSULTANT


Location: Netherlands – Den Haag
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 6 Months Renewable (2 year scope of works)
Languages: English
Conditions: Must have experience working for EU Vendor/Operator

We are urgently seeking a Network Design Engineer/Architect who is able to make a global impact analysis of packet switched mobile core network. The Global Analysis consists of amongst others:

" Network impact (network design & configuration)
" Determining which other domains are affected (OSS, BSS, Value Added Services, Transmission, etc)
" Risk analysis and prevention plus roll back scenario's
" Recommending specific test cases to the Test & Acceptance department
" Describing high level instructions for the Change & Implementation team

The candidate should have extensive experience within a mobile network operator on the mobile CS Core.
The knowledge should be MSC, MGW, HLR at configuration level, preferably of the vendor Huawei (will consider Ericsson or Nokia experts).

The scope of the Design & Architecture department is from the future proof architecture until implementing the configuration on the existing Test Network of the Test & Acceptance network.
